Wooden Floor Cleaning

Do you know how to best clean a wooden floor without nasty chemicals that pollutes the environment? If not then continue reading this page and I will show you a very effective way to keep your wooden floor look good.

I know that it can be a bit of a struggle of maintaining the shine of your wooden floor but once you try the following it will be a walk in the park.

The trick is to use white wine vinegar when you clean. It's very effective in getting rid of any foul smell as well as cleaning the floor. Make sure that you use distilled vinegar which can be bought at large quantity in any department store such as Walmart.

When you clean you add about 1 cup of vinegar into a bucket of water. Then mop around and clean the floor as you would with any other cleaner.

Now every once in a while, about once a month you should pour a few drops of vinegar straight on the wooden floor. Use a mop and wipe the floor clean. Make sure that the floor dries quickly as it can get stained if you don't get it dry. Doing this will make your wooden floor shine in no time.

Vinegar is great to use for cleaning and it's easy on the environment as well. A very good and cheap alternative to expensive chemical cleaners.

If you want, you can add some olive oil to a paper towel and get down on your hands and knees and rub the floor. This will get your floor to shine even more, just make sure that the oil gets into the wood or you may slip when you walk on it.
